Yes, you can mix different shades of Hair Building Fibers. In fact, it is often encouraged to mix different shades in order to find the closest match to your own color, especially when working with blonde or gray hair. The product can either be mixed directly in the hair (use the lighter color first, and then layer the darker color over it).

Below are some general guidelines that may help in achieving a customized color:

Toppik Hair Fibres move when too many fibres are applied. When Toppik Hair Fibres are applied to the scalp, the keratin protein forms a bond with the hair strand locking them in place. If there are too many fibres and the hair is too thin, then there is very little the Toppik Hair Fibres can bond with. Excess fibres with no-where to bond to will move freely.

This can be alleviated in two ways; the first method is by simply using less Toppik Hair Fibres! This will in turn allow the Toppik Hair Fibres to bond correctly.

The second and more efficient method is by using the Toppik Fibrehold Spray. The main reason for this may be that your hair could be extremely thin and in turn the Toppik Hair Fibres may not have much to bond with. Toppik Fibrehold Spray keeps the fibres in place, working as a sort of static based glue for your Toppik Fibres.

The Toppik Hair Fiber clumping is usually due to applying the fibres on wet hair. Your hair is a lot more stable when it is dry as it expands when it is wet. Toppik Hair Fibers were scientifically developed for dry hair. When your hair is wet and expanded, the Toppik Hair Fibres will still join to the hair follicle, but as the hair follicle dries it begins to contract and become smaller due to the water dissolving from within the follicle. Although it is not enough for you to notice it is enough to really put pressure on the keratin bonds. This will quite literally snap the Toppik Hair Fibres, as there are too many bonds in a small space and no-where for the Toppik Hair Fibres to retain their individual bonds.

This is not the case when you place Toppik Hair Fibres on dry hair, as even if it were to get wet in the future it would expand with the bonds already in place before contracting and not affecting the bonds overall integrity.

Toppik Fibres can stay in for up to a week if they aren’t shampooed out. Naturally, the Fibres may shift over the course of the week but, as always, can be easily touched up to reproduce your desired look.

2. Clean the Nozzle:
   After soaking, use a soft brush, such as a toothbrush, to gently scrub the nozzle and remove any remaining hair fibers or debris. Be careful not to damage the nozzle.

3. Rinse and Dry:
   Rinse the nozzle thoroughly with warm water to remove any leftover buildup. Allow the nozzle to dry completely before reattaching it to the spray bottle.

4. Check for Blockages:
   Before reattaching the nozzle, ensure that there are no blockages in the spray tube. You can also use a small pin or needle to gently clear any persistent blockages inside the tube.

5. Test the Applicator:

1. Complete the ToppikCanada.ca Return Form and include it with your return.
2. Pack and seal your return securely, in the original package if possible.
3. Affix the Canada Post return shipping label to the packaging or address the package to the address noted above. Make sure no other tracking labels are shown.
4. If using the shipping label provided, take the package to your nearest Canada Post outlet.
