2017 Fall Hairstyles for Thin Hair

2017 Fall Hairstyles for Thin Hair

For many of us, a fun-filled summer of sun, hot weather, or trips to the pool can wreak havoc on our hair. Due for a salon visit or ready for a trim? We’ve been seeing these fall hairstyles everywhere. Fall is the best time of a big change, use this post as inspiration for your new autumnal hairdo, especially for those of us with fine or thinning hair.

Collar-Length Bob

Collar-Length Bob

We love a collar-length bob haircut with a side part. While short enough to look chic and pulled-together, this haircut also has enough length to play with different textures. If you have long hair and are looking to go a shorter, this fall hairstyle option for you.

Braids

Braids

While braid hairstyles have always been popular, they are definitely getting more attention on high fashion runways these days. These are some of our favorite braid trends of 2017, just be careful to vary your look to avoid traction alopecia.

Blunt Cut with Bangs

Blunt Cut with Bangs

We are seeing this look EVERYWHERE, and it’s great for those with fine hair. Ask your hairdresser for a blunt cut that ends midway between your chin and shoulders with blunt bangs. This haircut looks lovely curled, or straightened with the ends turned under. Don’t want to commit to bangs? Fear not – that’s why clip-on fringes exist!

The Pixie

The Pixie

Ready to make the big chop? Now is a great time to try a pixie cut! We love the look bleached with accessories like a sparkly headband. This style is especially great for those with damaged hair, as it gives you a chance to start fresh and employ some healthy hair habits when you decide to grow out the look.

Long, Long Hair

Long, Long Hair

We are seeing many celebrities and influencers try their hand at Rapunzel-esque lengths, with the help of hair extensions, of course. This look works best on those with naturally straight hair so you don’t have to spend hours flat ironing your natural waves. Have curlier hair? Try a super long wig instead – just be sure to pin it carefully in place as the lengths can get quite heavy!

Curly Bangs with Round Curls

If you have curly hair and have always thought bangs aren’t for you – think again! This Flashdance-inspired ‘do is actually very current. We’ve been seeing models with curly hair and wispy bangs coming down the runway, and we love it.

Round Curls

Round layers are a huge hit right now with curly-headed celebrities. This versatile cut allows you to wear your hair in its natural ringlets, but still looks nice when straightened. We are also loving the look of brushed out curls, which lend a retro vibe to this modern haircut.

I agree with all of the previous comments. None of these models have thin/thinning hair that requires your products, or even tips/tricks for their hairstyles to cover bald spots or help with disguising their thinning hair. I regularly see emails from Toppik concerning these tips, but none of them are applicable to any of us who use your products. If these tips really worked then you should use actual models, and perhaps customers who use or could benefit with Toppik to prove the benefit of these tips. Otherwise for those of us with thinning hair, we know these tips are just false advertisement.

If I had hair like any of these models I’d have no need to use your products!!!

Toppik, where do you see thin hair? Whoever found this article should be fired because it’s a mockery to us who are dealing with hair loss.

Toppik, where do you see thin hair in this article. Seriously. We, who are dealing with hair loss, cannot relate therefore how do we trust your brand if YOU can’t make the difference between a head full of hair and thin hair…

LInda

None of these models have thin hair. Very hard to relate.
